Greening Forward

As we face the harsh reality of 8 million tons of plastic waste entering our oceans every year, it's clear that plastic pollution is a pressing issue that demands immediate action. To address this challenge, we hosted the 2025 WIND Summit, supported by Planeteer Alliance Captain Planet Foundation , bringing together youth leaders and passionate individuals to share ideas, develop solutions, and tackle local plastic pollution issues in Cameroon.

At Greening Forward, we're committed to empowering youth to drive change and create a sustainable future. Our summit aligned with our mission to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship, and we were proud to bring together young leaders passionate about creating a plastic-free future.

Our exceptional speakers shed light on waste management challenges, policy frameworks, and health impacts of plastic pollution. Special recognition to our project manager, Ngole Amstrong , for his outstanding leadership and planning skills that made this event a success!
