Enrol kids to learn traditional medicine this holiday from the renowned Doctor 40 40

Traditional herbal medicine is taking a new dimension as renowned herbal healer, Mr. Fuh Julius, popularly known as “Doctor 40 40,” launches an initiative aimed at training a new generation of traditional medicine practitioners across Cameroon.
The respected healer from Esu, has officially opened The Botanic Nexus Institute, a centre dedicated to the study and practice of natural herbal medicine. The initiative aligns with growing efforts to promote the integration of traditional and modern healthcare systems, similar to the model practiced in Ghana, where natural medicine has gained significant institutional recognition.
Originating from Esu, a community widely known for its rich traditional healing heritage and medicinal plants, Doctor 40 40 says the project is intended to preserve indigenous knowledge while equipping young people with practical skills in African traditional medicine.
According to the promoter, the institute is open to interested persons from all parts of Cameroon, with operational branches already functioning in Esu, Wum, Douala and Muyuka. He however encourages sons and daughters of Esu to seize the opportunity and become pioneers in preserving the community’s ancestral medicinal knowledge.

In Wum, around Hospital Junction

Participants who successfully complete the programme are issued attestations and practice licences.
The institute, legally authorised by the Government of Cameroon, also plans to expand operations to Bamenda and Yaoundé in the near future.
