With the invaluable support of Cordaid , JDPH successfully conducted a training for staff, volunteers, Complaint & Feedback Mechanism (CFM) focal persons, and key community actors on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Child Safeguarding, and Psychological First Aid (PFA).

This training, held on 22 May 2026 at Dantsho Hotel, Jimeta/Yola, Adamawa State was a significant step in equipping our team and community actors with the knowledge and skills for safe referral pathways in PSEA reinforcing our zero-tolerance stance against abuse and exploitation in all aspects of our work and service delivery.

At JDPH, we are committed to building a safer, more accountable, and more dignified environment for every community we serve. Because protection is not just a policy, it is a promise.

Thank you, , for your continued partnership and support!

🌟 Empowering Women, Building Peace! 🌟

CHeJPID, in partnership with Kerk in Actie, recently conducted a Training on Mentorship and Leadership for Women in Post-Conflict Communities in Tampul and Sabon Gida communities, Askira Uba LGA, Borno State.

Twelve (12) incredible women were equipped with practical leadership and mentorship skills to help them step boldly into their roles as leaders, peacebuilders, and community champions. 💪❤️

In post-conflict settings, women often find themselves taking on new and challenging roles — as heads of households, community mediators, and advocates for peace. Yet they continue to face significant barriers including trauma, poverty, cultural norms, and exclusion from decision-making spaces. This training is a step toward breaking down those barriers!

Grounded in the principles of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security, the training focused on:
✅ Building confidence and leadership skills
✅ Peer support and mentorship
✅ Overcoming barriers to participation in governance and peacebuilding
✅ Strengthening community resilience

Women are not just survivors of conflict; they are powerful agents of peace and recovery. We are proud to walk this journey with them! 🕊️

Together with our partner, Kerk in Actie, CHeJPID recently distributed Cash and VSLA toolkits to women in Push*t and Nchiya communities of Mangu LGA, Plateau State.

These toolkits are designed to support Income Generating Activities and help empower these amazing women to build better livelihoods for themselves and their families. 💪❤️

We are proud to be part of this journey toward economic empowerment.
