🎓 Congratulations to our 18 apprentices!

This Wednesday, we had the pleasure of celebrating the graduation of our apprentices who successfully completed their training journey at SIX, including 4 commercial, 13 IT, and 1 Mediamatic apprentice.

Over the past three to four years, they demonstrated dedication, resilience, and a genuine passion for their development. Their hard work and commitment have been inspiring, and we are proud to see how much they have grown, both personally and professionally.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who supported and guided them along the way – your mentorship has made a lasting impact.

Congratulations once again to all our graduates! We wish you every success as you take the next step in your careers. 🚀

This Pride Month we proudly came together to celebrate inclusion, community and allyship 🌈

Across our locations, colleagues gathered to celebrate in many ways.

From a global inclusion workshop with our partner REDI to joining Pride parades in Madrid and Warsaw, colleagues came together to learn, connect, and show their support for the LGBTQ+ community. Across our offices, local celebrations and activities also created opportunities to raise awareness, foster connection, and celebrate Pride together. In Switzerland, we were proud to sponsor the BCG Pride Campaign and colleagues in the UK and the US marked Pride through local events.

These moments reflect our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to be their authentic self.

A big part of this journey is our Qu**rs & Peers, an employee-led network for LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies to connect, collaborate and drive positive change within SIX and beyond.

🎤 Meet our Public Speaking Club, where colleagues grow their confidence and communication skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Part of Toastmasters International, the club brings together colleagues eager to become more effective communicators, whether just starting out or already experienced.

Members come together in Zurich and Madrid, where they practice public speaking, share feedback, and learn from one another in a supportive setting.

Beyond developing presentation skills, the club creates a space for personal growth, helping colleagues share ideas with confidence and strengthening their communication skills.

568 colleagues at SIX Group are under 30. Yesterday, five of them led the first Next Gen Exchanges Townhall – building on insights from a survey with over 200 participants, representing a response rate of more than 40%.

👏 Silvia, Wei, Lucy, Beyazit, and Daniel asked what makes a great employer – and what it is really like to work at SIX Group. The strong participation clearly shows: young talents want their voices to be heard.

📚 Learning comes first: Learning and development rank above compensation as the top driver of employer attractiveness – consistent across Switzerland, Spain, and Poland.

🏡 Everyday benefits matter: Flexible working and everyday fringe benefits – such as public transport, fitness, and healthcare – rank higher than industry averages suggest.

🗣️ Strong psychological safety: 87% say they feel safe to speak up and admit mistakes at SIX, well above the ~70% industry benchmark.

🤖 Balanced view on AI: 44% see it mostly as an opportunity, 9% as a threat, and 48% see both – a positive signal in an industry that has shown increased uncertainty following recent Harvard and Stanford studies.

🚀 Clear areas to improve: Open questions generated honest feedback on where SIX can improve – including reducing bureaucracy, providing more stable roles for young talent, and offering clearer growth opportunities.

💡 Formats like this exist because good questions deserve real conversations and because people want to be heard. The Next Gen Townhall in Exchanges was a strong example of what that looks like in practice.
