We’ve spoken with a lot of customers over the years who found us due to efficiency glass ceilings with multi-rotors.
Now, more people might be finding us because we are Blue UAS certified and ahead on compliance in a time of tightening regulations.
The story starts differently for each, but when our customers take the leap their experiences converge: they discover that there’s more to our orange bird and workflow than just the reasons they found us ... and a lot more business upgrades than just a different look and feel, like:
👍 More possibilities: either to take on smaller surveys more often, or larger surveys than they ever thought possible in days instead of weeks.
👍 Friendly, personalized customer support: as they take on projects that actually move the needle on what’s possible in drone surveying and mapping. (See wingtra.com/case_studies for examples.)
👍 A lean learning curve with more reliability, capacity, safety and confidence on the other side.
👍 Minimized points of failure and field hiccups.
👍 A system ready for new OOP and BVLOS envelopes.
👍 The list goes on.
Don’t get us wrong, multi-rotors still have their place and are amazing for inspection and other applications. But if surveying and mapping is what you do, now is the time to look closely at a solution that’s 100 percent dedicated to it so you can reach that next level.
It's hard to put into words how easy yet powerful the WingtraRAY is to use for a mapping mission. That's why we really love gather groups and run demos—seeing it all run easy and smooth is all the proof you need!
The next best thing is when a company like Drone Nerds films one with us.
When you have ten minutes, grab a coffee and watch this demo, featuring our Sales Enablement and Training Manager, Ben Snyder who joins Drone Nerds' Technical Director Giovanni Ruiz and Drone Nerds' Advanced UAS Trainer Stuart de la Rosa.
This is your chance to take an easy-breezy closer look at a leading, fully US regulations compliant survey drone—capturing data on a beautiful Miami, Florida, day—right from the comfort of your office or couch.

The hidden cost of waiting to switch your drone survey platform isn't on your P&L—it's in the contracts you can't bid on.
Over the past six months, we've noticed something troubling: survey teams are so focused on the upfront cost of fleet transitions that they're missing the bigger financial picture.
New airframes. New sensors. Retraining. Compliance concerns. So they delay the decision.
Meanwhile, they're caught between expensive US quadcopter systems that lack maturity and restricted drones they can no longer use on critical projects.
But here's what no one's calculating: What does staying put actually cost you?
This is how you measure the loss of delayed decisions:
🚫 Federal contracts you can't bid on
🚫 Projects that drag because you're waiting on waivers
🚫 Margins that keep shrinking while competitors move faster
The truth is, you're not buying drones. You're buying access to the work that matters and protection against regulatory changes.
When teams transition to NDAA-compliant, FCC-approved, Blue-listed VTOL platforms like ours, the ROI conversation changes completely.
Even though it's very cool observe, they're not celebrating the hardware as much as what it unlocked:
✓ Access to federal and regulated contracts they were locked out of before
✓ Operations over people projects without waiver delays
✓ 3-5x more coverage per flight with lower survey cost per acre
✓ Fast adoption and easy scaling across teams
✓ A defensible fleet that auditors and insurers actually understand
As much as we love to share tech—and impressive WingtraRAY drone coverage comparison graphics—this isn't purely a technology decision. It's a business continuity decision.
If you are looking at updating your fleet now, make sure you're opening doors not locked behind them.

Our annual Partner Pulse events are in full swing in Zurich, Switzerland and Savannah, Georgia!
The events will span this week and next (this week covering Europe, MENA and North America, and next week covering South America and Asia).
Being at the leading edge of technology means we are actually creating the future together. As exciting as that sounds, it's not always so easy to translate completely new realities and solutions to a market that might not even know how much they need them yet!
That's why these events are so important. They bring us together to share information and pull focus on what matters most of all: translating the future, taking care of our customers as they step into it, and making sure our shared success compounds year over year.
So far at Partner Pulse, we've looked back at all the exciting developments of 2025 and are now locking in to how to reach more surveyors, engineers and site managers with these developments and the exciting new ones in 2026.
Here are a few impressions.
