When we put more time into projects which can be finished in a shorter period, we tend to delay doing it until the last minute.

If we leave it unsettled, Parkinson's Law can sabotage your productivity.

So how to overcome it? 🤔

1. Plan your work strategically.
Create a detailed timeline on how long the task can take.

2. Set self-imposed deadlines.
After assessing your work plan, schedule a shorter deadline for the task. It can help you start early and finish it in a shorter time.

3. Try timeboxing.
Allocate completing the task in a fixed time frame. It can help you fight procrastination and prioritize the important task.

4. Try Pomodoro Technique.
It is a productive strategy that helps you focus on working while taking a shorter break.

5. Use task management tools.
It can help you organize your to-do list, manage your deadlines, and track your progress.
