Benício came into this world a few days ago, naturally and at home, with the blessings of Ogum and Iemanjá. Healthy, strong, and curious, he opened his eyes right away and looked closely at both of us. That moment will stay with me forever.

I pay tribute to Fernanda, my partner and Benício’s mother – and to all the mothers of the world. For the immense strength it takes to bring us into this world and nourish us. You are the true warriors – carrying love, not destruction.

I’m grateful for the journey I chose. For the time we can spend together during these first days. For everything we are learning, every day and every hour. For the magic of life and the mysteries of the body.
