Climate Impulse

Before we spread our 36m wide wings, we want to show you what the structure looks like before it is fully covered.

Our wings must be strong enough to withstand extreme weather, carry our hydrogen reserves, and light enough to make Climate Impulse the most efficient airplane possible. This is why we built them using carbon composite materials from our partner .

Recently, this decision to use this material has been proven right. We passed our spar test, exceeding expectations and proving that our structure offers strong performance and the necessary safety for our pilots.

Last week, the Climate Impulse team gathered in 🇫🇷 Les Sables-d’Olonne for two days of deep technical alignment and strategic communication workshops, bringing together our core team, engineers, partners and communication leads around a shared objective: turning an unprecedented vision into a flying reality.

Over an intensive first day, we reviewed the full architecture of the aircraft from overall design, aerodynamics and flight controls to propulsion, hydrogen storage, fuel cells and flight testing. Each session reflected the same guiding principle: pushing the limits of efficiency, safety and performance to enable the world’s first non stop, zero emission flight around the globe.

The second day shifted the focus to storytelling and impact. Communication teams from the project’s partners came together to align on key messages, timelines and narratives, ensuring that the technological breakthrough we are building is matched by a clear, powerful and shared voice.

🎤 Because innovation only drives change when it is understood, shared and carried collectively.

These two days reinforced what Climate Impulse stands for: a unique alliance between cutting edge engineering, bold vision and collective commitment.

Together, we are proving that what once seemed impossible is not only achievable, it is already in motion.
