The TIR system became fully operational in Iraq in 2025, marking a new era in international logistics and trade.

Within just eight months, transport companies opened seven routes via Iraq, conducting over 1,000 operations.

Iraq went on to make TIR mandatory for all goods transiting its territory by road – reinforcing the efficiency and security of trade.
