In 2014, Cyclone Ian damaged Suliana's home in Ha'apai, Tonga, leaving her family sheltering under a broken roof for two days.

The memory has not faded. Through IOM's Pacific Climate Mobility Training, Suliana and her neighbours mapped flood zones, identified vulnerable households, and learned what they can do before disaster strikes next.

But after a decade in displacement, she came back to a house damaged by conflict and no longer safe to live in.
