The inspiration of the brand

There are few places on earth in which you can truly experience the life-changing power of light as you can in a Scandinavian country, Sweden. Here, an absence of direct sunlight or dim light leads to a long night during the winter season for parts of the country.

Unexpectedly, the light exposure in the Scandinavian area has longer exposure than in most other regions. That’s why a common phenomenon often occurs in this area is “twilight”, a soft glowing light coming from the reflection of the sun’s rays when the sun is below the horizon. Nevertheless, the long-lived colorful sunbeams are relatively weak due to scattering, year-round.

Nature is the biggest enemy but a source of inspiration. For many Swedes, learning to cope with the enduring darkness is a trait that’s etched into the national spirit.
