STRENGTHENING NEONATAL CARE AT HÔTEL-DIEU DE FRANCE –

With the new state-of-the-art vein viewer and pediatric bronchofibroscope now in place at Hôtel‑Dieu de France University Medical Center, thousands of ’s tiniest patients are gaining safer, faster access to care. This powerful act of solidarity was initiated by the Rotary Club de Beyrouth and made possible thanks to the generous support of ALAM Suisse and Rotary Zurich Circle International, in collaboration with Rotary Club Sahel Metn, and Rotary Club of Cedars.

Led by La Clinique Sociale de l’Enfant, supported by ALAM Suisse and Fondation Diane, and carried out with Hôtel-Dieu de France UMC and Saint Joseph University of Beirut, this national program brings free school screenings and low-radiation X-rays to children across Lebanon—giving every child the chance to grow up strong and healthy.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 : the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, pledged nationwide school screening, integration of scoliosis checks into primary care, and future national coverage for scoliosis surgeries.
