we’ve just started a meaningful, long-term cooperation with a new production partner in Cape Town, SA

Through this partnership we aim to:

♻️ activate and involve the local kitesurfing community in Cape Town

💚 create fair jobs and new income opportunities for survivors of human trafficking

⭐️ turn even more discarded kites into unique, hope-filled bags

Idea with heart & a little background:

Tel Aviv called me “Matti”.
Switzerland knows me as Matt.

For years, KitePride grew in the streets of Tel Aviv.
Everyone knew the workshop, the kites, the bags – and the people behind them. We were never just a brand; we were, and always will be, a family.
My wife Tabea helped build our social presence from scratch, and we were surrounded by an amazing team that believed in second chances as much as we did.

Now we’re doing something that feels both scary and exciting:
we’re bringing KitePride to Switzerland – from Tel Aviv to Bern.
Because impact should not stop at borders.
