When Dominik joined our 23rd Capability Program to Sri Lanka, he expected a challenging experience. What he didn’t expect? The depth of human connection, the power of co-creation, and the impact that can happen when you let go and trust the process.
“𝘐𝘧 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘦’𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘣𝘺 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥’𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘯𝘰. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘵 — 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮, 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵.”
Dominik was moved by what he saw — especially in the Vedda community, where families face daily discrimination and poverty. But he stayed grounded in purpose:

Congratulations to five social entrepreneurs from our family for having been selected for this year's exchange program. They get the chance to share best practices with our family members in other countries. The exchange program is sponsored by donations made to our Foundation. BOOKBRIDGE covers the flight and all other costs are covered by the social entrepreneurs. We will open up applications for 2025 in September. Enjoy getting together and learning from each other!
