Pneuma’s new single moves at its own pace, unfolding gradually as ideas appear, shift and take new directions. Music that wanders rather than rushes, following a natural flow and letting small details slowly come into focus.

Œstetik - “Vergänglich”
A new release from Œstetik, a group we’re happy to welcome back to the label. Their music draws on a wide range of influences - from artists like ADHD, Eve Risser, Colin Vallon, Kaja Draksler, PHILM, Malcolm Braff, Punkt.Vrt.Plastik, Sun Ra and the Craig Taborn Trio. The result is music that is energetic and rhythmically alive, but also melodic, lyrical and sensitive. Œstetik’s sound moves between freedom and structure, creating a space where exploration and strong musical identity meet.

We’re excited to welcome Pneuma to the label.
The Basel-based trio explores the jazz piano trio tradition through trust, presence, and deep listening.

My new album “1971” is out everywhere on @houtrecords !!! It is inspired by the revolutionary jazz fusion I discovered as a teenager. Albums by Miles, Soft Machine, or Weather Report opened my mind to a lot of new musical possibilities. I also infused the record with a bit of a futuristic spin!
