At the beginning of each year, we receive and send best wishes as a tradition.
As a kick off for this upcoming year as a new start, a new chapter. Some of us comment that the year that just finished went too fast, some of us cannot wait for the new one to begin… but what have we done with last year wishes, hopes we might have made? What have we lived, experienced? Which moment have we seized? Which one will remain and resonate within our inner self?
At the beginning of each year as a family, we write New Year resolutions and share the ones that we wrote down the year before. We observe that some of them were achieved, and some of them are carried on the new list. Some of them are soon forgotten and we realised that they were not essential.
This end of the year tradition made us realise that what is a essential in one moment might not be some important at another time, and that we often forget to pause in our busy life to reflect, integrate our feelings, to connect to our inner self, to our essentials.
Let’s switch off our phone, tv, radio on a regular basis, close our eyes and spend a little moment with ourselves, welcome the feelings that emerge and how they resonate with us, clear our mind and just feel the deep presence of what is essential to us.

In sophrology we work with the consciousness.
Consciousness is the awarness of the present time.
Thoughts and memories are mental representations which could causes culpability and worries.
Culpability: illusion to be powerful in the past.
Worries: illusion to be powerful in the future.
Peace: Consciousness is the real power of the here and now.

Sophrology Training for Positivity
Sophrology is a training, and like any other training it can take some time to feel the benefits.
In fact it’s been shown it takes at least 15 days of practicing for a new habit to form in our minds.
As we know training is also essential in in other areas of our lives, at work, learning to drive, or sport. We need training and practice to progress, to gain strength, and achieve our goals.
Sophrology is also training that should be practiced, ideally daily, even for just a few minutes. These sophrology exercises use our consciousness to balance the body and mind by focussing on the environment as a whole, and ultimately allow us to be able to live fully in the moment or stay tuned.
The training uses this presence to integrate all our positivity, increasing self-confidence, which in turn is essential to project oneself on to further achievements.
Dedicating a few minutes per day to practice tailored exercises to your individual needs will make a noticeable difference to your positivity and long term success!
