GRACE Gorillas

This World Environment Day, we’re celebrating one of nature’s most powerful protectors: gorillas. 🦍🌿

Gorillas are a keystone species, helping shape the health of the forests they call home. As they move through the forest, they disperse seeds, support new plant growth, and help maintain the biodiversity of one of the most important forest ecosystems on Earth.

When we protect gorillas, we protect so much more: forests that store carbon, wildlife that shares their habitat, and communities whose futures are deeply connected to the land.

At GRACE, conservation is rooted in partnership with local communities in eastern DR Congo. Together, we are protecting gorillas, forests, and the future we all share.
