Last night, some of our team attended the opening for the Fringe Festival show ‘The Shelter,’ which tells the story of Joyce, “a young woman desperate to catch her bus after her first (and last) day at her new downtown job. She has an unexpected meeting with Paul, a homeless man living in the bus shelter. The encounter between them, and other eccentric passers-by, have life-altering implications for them both.”

The show was absolutely beautiful, with an incredible script and a wonderful cast who brought every character to life with so much heart.💙

We are grateful to Mike and the Dark Horse Theatre team for having us out to see it and for choosing MSP to receive part of the proceeds from ticket sales. Congrats on a great opening night!

Clothing and Hygiene Products

At this time, Main Street Project has moved our clothing donation centre to the back entrance of our emergency shelter, located at 637 Main Street, accessible from Logan Avenue and Martha Street.

Thursday: 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Saturday: Not accepting donations
