Transcona Museum

Today on Decoration Day, the Transcona Legion will hold a ceremony at the Field of Honour (Transcona Cemetery) at 1:00 pm. The Parade will leave the Branch at 2:30 pm and end at the Cenotaph in Memorial Circle Park. A wreath-laying ceremony will follow.

All members of the public are welcome to attend.

Hi neighbours!

Join us at the Transcona Museum for Hi Neighbour on Saturday, June 6, from 12 to 4 PM, right after the parade!

We’re excited to share some fun gallery games, a quirky question at our polling booth, and new displays throughout the museum. We can't wait to see you on Saturday!

Summer Hours are back at the Transcona Museum!

We are open Monday to Friday, 10 am - 4 pm and Saturdays, 12 - 4 pm.

During July and August, we will also be opening the gates at CN 2747 on (most) Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10 - 11:30 am.

Please note that we are closed on all holiday long weekends and on any other dates as indicated.
