Another how many weeks?! This is how I feel about Manitoba *still * being the C*vid hotspot.
All of this shenanigans aside, man.... anyone else identifying with the recent NY Times article "There's a Name for the Blah You're Feeling: It's Called Languishing" by Adam Grant. πββοΈ. "Somewhat joyless and aimless" - yep. Pile another round of remote school policing on top, with a side of not even being able to see ANYONE ANYWHERE, and that's where I find myself. I feel like we will be out of this "soon" - but man, Manitoba is just detemined to be last π€ͺ.
Re-enter sewing. It has been the sliver of sunlight and alone-time flow that I was craving. I can tag off with my husband, put on my noise cancelling headphones, put on a podcast, and get some needed creative outlet. I have sewed more in the last 2 weeks than i have in any other 2 week period of my life, lol. 4 pieces! (although one was a muslin). Personal record π. The latest shown here is a from in an Indian block-printed cotton from . I've had it sitting in my queue for a while, so I was soooooo glad to get 'er done!
What have you been doing to get you through lockdown? New hobbies? Re-kindling an old hobby? Netflix forever? Are you languishing too?

So I hear it's supposed to be 19 degrees on Thursday.... so...... shorts!?! (If you live in Winnipeg, these things do go hand in hand lol)
And do you know what feels amazing when it's warm? SILK. All of these pieces are 100% silk and 100% summer approved.
