We are beyond excited to announce a new session of will be held virtually in October under our new partnership with ! Please see below for full details!

•Are you over 50 and experiencing sadness, anxiety, or feeling challenged related to transitions such as retirement or caregiving? Turning Pages is an innovative community-based program offered in partnership with the . Our goal is to improve mental health symptoms through , skill building, peer support, and community connections. Turning pages is rooted in best practices and evidence-based research to help strengthen the mental health of older adults. The course is 7 weeks in length and offered through Zoom. The cost is $25.00 per person (fee waivers are available based on need).

Date: Seven Tuesdays starting on Tuesday, October 5th from 130pm-300pm

Today we celebrate the 64th Birthday of Cathy Curtis. To those that didn’t know her well- here are a few memories from her family and friends:

I'll always remember aunt Cathy as a warm, genuine, loving, accepting person. I try to follow her role model of a devoted mother/parent. I'll always remember her warm smile and infectious laughter.

I had the pleasure of working with Cathy, her thoughtfulness, creativity for the children and just her overall personality was one of kind. I remember the day she got the call her first grandchild was born (as she was at work) she was so proud and ecstatic! Which of course is expected but that is how she carried herself everyday, always a smile on her face! Just a kind and gentle soul.

Cathy was a beautiful teenage girl, with a quick, sly sense of humor. She surrounded herself with a group of close girl friends but was always open to including the new girl. I remember her so clearly in a green shirt blouse, blue jeans, blond s**g hair cut, leaning out of her desk, laughing at someone's story. To me, she will be forever young.
