ADOPTABLE BUNNY!
Say "Hej" to Lars!
Lars came to us after being found on the side of the highway with some pretty rough looking wounds. Thankfully this gigantic boy (Just over 5kg... which is just over 11 lbs. if you were wondering) has recovered very well from his injuries, and is now looking for a permanent home!
Because we have no history on Lars, we have no idea what his life looked like before he was picked up. We suspect he may have been abandoned, and that his injuries may have been from another rabbit.
Despite his mystery history, any scary things Lars may have experienced certainly haven't stuck with him. He has been a confident, curious (aka mischievous) and very affectionate bun. He is a voracious eater (though he can be picky about his hay), and is communicative physically and verbally about how he's feeling! He has not met any rabbits during his time with us so we aren't sure how he would do with another one, but he has met a calm senior dog and cat and wasn't bothered by them at all.
Lars is an easy to please rabbit which we think is an excellent trade off for the amount of space and food he will need in order to have his needs met.
If you've always wanted a giant rabbit (or a small rabbit shaped dog...), Lars may just be the perfect one for you! Drop us a line at [email protected] if you're interested in learning more about Lars!

It’s Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Week!
Here at Whyte Ridge Veterinary Hospital, we are beyond lucky to have two incredible receptionists. These ladies are our front line – coordinating appointments, triaging phone calls, and providing the warm and welcoming atmosphere you feel when you walk into our lobby.
Adrianna (left) has worked at Whyte Ridge for 2 and a half years. She’s calm, cool, collected – and a real silly goose, if you get her chatting long enough. Her favourite thing about veterinary medicine is that every day is a new adventure. She loves making connections with our clients every day. At home, she has a sweet brown kitty named Tootsie, and a goofy Norwegian Elkhound named Odie.
Sera (right) has worked at Whyte Ridge for 7 months. The only thing brighter than the sun shining through our lobby windows is Sera’s smile! Her favourite things about working at Whyte Ridge Vet are having conversations with our wonderful clients and snuggling with our adorable patients. At home, she has a fluffy husky named Freyja, and a cutie Bearded Dragon named Kiwi.
Thank you both for your hard work and dedication. We love working with you both, and we know all our patients feel the same way ♥
