Today, on International Indigenous Mother Language Day, we honour the strength and beauty of our languages- carriers of identity, culture, and wisdom. Language is more than words; it is the root of our identity, a reflection of who we are.
Across Canada, efforts to restore and preserve Indigenous languages are growing, recognizing them as vital to reconciliation and cultural resurgence. At , we support this journey in many ways including through technology, using language apps and digital tools to help First Nations and Indigenous organizations reclaim, revitalize, and share their languages. This is a way to rediscover and harness our full potential as Indigenous peoples. Every word spoken, written, and shared keeps our stories alive. ✨🧡
