NEW STAFF ALERT! 🌟 Welcome Alaura Dudley to the Bend Academy faculty! We're really excited to be expanding our team and bringing in more wonderful teachers like Ms. Alaura! Ms. Alaura brings a wealth of teaching experience and a lovely energy to her classes. She'll be teaching Kinder Ballet/Tap, Ballet 2, and Jazz 2 on Thursday nights this fall!

Alaura started dancing at the age of five and has successfully completed many RAD children’s and vocational exams, as well as ADAPT jazz and tap exams. She went on to prepare her own students and enter them into all levels of ADAPT ballet exams. Alaura is also a certified instructor with Acrobatic Arts. She has been teaching for over 14 years, which is where she found her trye love and passion for dance. Her choreography has won many awards at competitions across Canada. Ms. Alaura believes in striving for technical excellence and giving every child the opportunity to be the best dancer they can be.

We added a second adult class to our summer schedule to accommodate high demand! We’re really excited that so many adults are eager to take aerial this summer! 🙃

The short 6-week session is the perfect way to get a feel for aerial silks and hoop and try out the class as a short session before signing up for a season.

We now have 7:30pm and 8:30pm classes available on Wednesdays from July 8 - August 12. The classes are listed as Level 1 & 2, meaning they’re beginner friendly but also open to those with some pre-existing experience. The cost for the 6 week session is $160 + GST.

As of posting this we have 2 spots left in each class! 🔥

These classes truly are beginner-friendly, for anybody with any body, a great workout, and a lot of fun. Registration is available online now. Grab your spot while we still have room!

Getting our picture day poses ready and setting final touches on recital routines! 📸✨🧞‍♀️ These Acro 2 genies are preparing to bring magic to the stage!

Next week, June 9 - 15 is our final week of classes for the 2025-2026 season and we're doing class pictures and in-class dress rehearsals in costumes! Bend families, please make sure you've gone through the information about picture week that has been emailed out. Make sure to review the recital information too so you're all set for our shows!
