Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jennifer Moore Rattray, CEO and Thomas Edwards, Director Reaching Home from End Homelessness Winnipeg to Selkirk Wahkowtowin Place.

As a valued partner, End Homelessness Winnipeg plays a critical role in advancing solutions to homelessness in our city. During their visit, we provided a tour of the facility and shared how Selkirk Wahkowtowin Place offers more than just housing—it is a space focused on healing, long-term support, and dignity for our residents.

Their visit also coincided with our weekly Nutrition Program, giving them the opportunity to see firsthand how we prepare and deliver healthy, nutritious meals to residents at the McLaren Hotel and Vendome Hotel, as well as to members at Selkirk Wahkowtowin Place and across Winnipeg’s North End.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect and showcase this important work. We look forward to strengthening our collaboration with End Homelessness Winnipeg in the future. 💙

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming 10 incredible volunteers to our facility to help us make 120 nutritious meals for our community! 😀

🍴 Each meal package included sandwiches, potato salad, fresh strawberries, and desserts. 🍴

These meals were delivered to residents at the McLaren Hotel and Vendome Hotel, as well as shared with community members at EHI Transitional Housing – Selkirk Wahkowtowin Place and across Winnipeg’s North End.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for bringing ideas, positive energy and a beautiful intensity to our nutrition program every week! Your dedication is essential to the work that we do to support our community! ❤️
