A heartfelt thank you to the University of Windsor Pre-Law Students’ Society for their generous support!

Through the proceeds from their annual Galas over the past two years, the Society has donated an incredible $2,100 to help support local cancer patients and their families.

Held at the Fogolar Furlan Club, the annual Gala brings together students, alumni, faculty, and members of the legal community for an evening of connection, celebration, and giving back. It is a tradition that has united aspiring legal professionals for more than a decade while demonstrating the importance of community involvement and philanthropy.

For many years, the University of Windsor Pre-Law Students’ Society has served as a cornerstone for undergraduate students pursuing careers in law, providing mentorship, networking opportunities, and programming that helps prepare the next generation of legal advocates.

We are incredibly grateful that these future leaders have chosen to make a difference in the lives of local cancer patients. Congratulations to the 2026 recipients of the Jason Thomas Memorial Scholarship! 💜🎓

Each year, the Jason Thomas Memorial Scholarship helps local students pursue their post-secondary education while navigating the financial and emotional impact that cancer can have on an immediate family.

Created in memory of Jason Thomas, the scholarship reflects his family's enduring commitment to supporting education and ensuring that no student's dreams are put on hold because of the challenges cancer brings.
