Sigma Theta Tau International – Tau Upsilon Chapter Celebrates Nurses Week 2026

Windsor, Ontario – In the fast-paced world of healthcare, much of nurses’ essential work—especially beyond direct patient care—often goes unseen. This Nurses Week, Sigma Tau Upsilon Chapter is proud to recognize not only the clinical expertise that defines the profession, but also the compassion, resilience, and humanity nurses bring to their work every day.

Nurses go beyond their role, beyond the shift, and beyond what is expected. They are there for patients during some of life’s most difficult moments, offering not only expert care but also reassurance, understanding, and hope.

Each day, nurses extend their impact far beyond physical care—supporting the emotional and mental well-being of those they serve, while also leading, educating, and advocating within their communities.

This Nurses Week, we celebrate nurses as both highly skilled professionals and compassionate caregivers. Thank you for showing up fully, time and time again, when you are needed most.
