🌱 Here We Grow Again! 🌱
Exciting things are growing at Village Union Public School!
Thanks to our donors and the team , students recently rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty installing two new garden beds that will soon be bursting with fresh vegetables. Through this hands-on experience, students learned about wicking systems, planting techniques, garden cultivation, environmental stewardship, and the journey from seed to harvest.

These garden beds are much more than a place to grow food, they’re outdoor classrooms where students develop valuable life skills, learn about sustainability, explore healthy food choices, and discover the rewards of patience, teamwork, and caring for the environment.

In the months ahead, the entire school community will benefit from the fresh produce grown right on school grounds. And the learning doesn’t stop when summer begins! The team will help care for and maintain the gardens throughout the summer months, ensuring that every vegetable harvested finds its way into the homes of students and families who can benefit from fresh, nutritious food.

A huge thank you to the staff and students at Village Union PS, and everyone helping to grow food, learning, and community….one garden bed at a time! 🌿🥕🍅
