Vectors Inspired

Vectors Inspired has been busy making 60 in 1 arcade games for over the past year. These arcade cabinets have been popular lately with all age groups and they are fun projects to make. There are 60 games preprogramed on the boards with classics like Galaga, Pacman, Donkey Kong, Centepede, Ms. Packman, Space Invaders , Frogger, Galaxian and Dig Dug, just to mention a few. This is a great gift for the whole family!

Vectors Inspired is now making custom 7 day pill boxes. This is a neat project inspired by a co-worker. The boxes are just over 5" in diameter and about 1 1/8" high. They have seven compartments for the pills and the lid is held on with earth magnets. The lid can be turned and it "snaps" to the next day because of the position of the earth magnets. Each compartment has the day labeled to keep you on track. This one is made out of Butternut wood and finished with a food grade cutting board oil.

Vectors Inspired has been busy! Lost of stuff on the go that I might post later but I wanted to show this neat game I made for my Mother and Father in Law. Dice ball! Pretty simple game, roll the dice and do what it says on the board. It goes a lot quicker than a real game of baseball and winning all depends on the roll of the dice. Carved out of MDF, painted and sealed. I even put a storage pocket in the back to store the dice and the cribbage pegs. Fun project!

Finally a new post on Vectors Inspired!

Hello Everyone! It has been quite some time since I have posted, but trust me, Vectors Inspired has been busy. Shortly after Christmas I was challenged to make two large "scrabble art" wall hangings for a family. Combined, there was 143 letter tiles, which was a large project for me. Each tile measured 2 3/4" square and they are scaled to an actual scrabble tile, including the score value.

The first one has the grandmother's name, some of her qualities and each of the grand children's names. It used 73 tiles and after it was assembled was 55" wide X 30" tall.

The second one has all of her children with the spouses names inset in the tiles that contain their names. It used 70 tiles and measured 52" X 30".

We used different colours to create a theme in both of the projects.Have a look at the pictures!

These carvings were made for our family Christmas gifts this year; a personal sign for each of them to display in their homes. Some of the pictures were before the stain and finish was applied so that's why they look whiter. They are carved in 1 X 6 select pine, stained with golden oak and then a high gloss clear coat is applied. I think creating the collage has reduced the quality of the picture so accept my apologies for the poor image quality, they do look better than the picture!
