Dr. Amir-Hossein Karimi invites you to join us for โ€œAgents in the Wild: Building AI That Actually Does Things,โ€ an interactive workshop exploring how modern AI agents are built.

Led by Hamza Mostafa, a fourth-year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo, participants will build a working AI agent while learning about the key engineering patterns behind agent systems โ€” including tool use, reasoning loops, persistent memory, and safety guardrails.

Hamza has interned at companies and startups in the San Francisco Bay Area, including OpenAI, where he worked on the Agent team developing systems such as Deep Research, ChatGPT Agent, and Shopping Agent.
