: Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to all the men of our Ummah who give and give and give, whether they're bashed, shamed, or demonized left, right and center, and who are the stewards of their families till their very ends; and to the fathers who have tirelessly tried to be reunited with their children despite entire systems tearing them away and feeding them lies about their fathers.

May the truth of your grace, nobility, majesty and love be made clear on that Day, if it's not here and now, and may your every footsteps be covered in His Gentleness, Mercy, and Provision. May you all be surrounded by wonderful and loving families, and may your bonds with your children be beautified daily. Ameen.

We must resist the temptation to project our bad experiences with individuals, based on group identity and our assumptions around narratives, onto every new person we engage, such that we don't demonize them from the get go.
