This Giving Day 2026, our alumni, faculty, staff, students, retirees, parents and friends raised more than $1.04 million through 1,500+ donors, creating meaningful opportunities for students, faculty and researchers across the University of Waterloo.
Beyond philanthropy, our community helped amplify Giving Day by sharing stories, engaging their networks and generating more than 17,500 Giving Day Game entries, helping direct additional funding to priority initiatives across campus.
These results demonstrate the impact that is possible when a community comes together in support of a shared vision for the future.
