For the 2nd year in a row, my son and I accepted the challenge to participate in the Wheelchair Relay Challenge and raise funds for Spinal Cord Injury Ontario.
Did you know that every day, somewhere in Ontario, a person sustains a spinal cord injury? It is one of the most devastating events that can happen in someone's life. It takes an average of 2-3 years for a person to regain his or her independence.
SCI Ontario helps people transition from the emergency room to rehabilitation and back to the community. They offer customized programs and services that meet people's needs. To be able to reach the 33,000 people living with spinal cord injuries in this province, SCI Ontario needs your help. Watch Rob's video to learn more about living with a SCI.
