That’s right - ya girl is moving to Vancouver!! If you’re one of my clients, I’ve either already talked to you, or you should have received an email in your inbox last week with the big news. 🤗 My last day of practicing will be January 26th, 2024. Stay tuned for moving updates and what I’m SURE will be some sappy posts about my time here in ON. 🥰

“So, why massage therapy?”
This is a question I get asked a lot and honestly, great question! Here’s how I usually answer it:)
In high school I was fascinated by anatomy and biology, it’s crazy how the human body works! I knew I wanted to continue to study those subjects somehow but I wasn’t sure what that path looked like. My grandma was a massage therapist so I always knew this profession was an option but I also considered going into forensics and even looked into being a mortician (kind of crazy I know😱 but Abby from NCIS was really my idol at that point).
I took two years off after high school: one to work full time and save up and the second to travel. I hung out in Europe and Thailand for while ✈️🌴. I am so happy I took those years off, not only was it an amazing experience but it gave me the time to figure out what I really wanted to do.
So in April 2018 when my plane touched down in Canada (in the middle of an ice storm no less) I applied to start school at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) that fall and the rest is history!
I’m so happy I chose this profession. Not only do I have a tangible skill that I can pack up with me and take anywhere but I get to interact with amazing (living😉) people everyday. I get to share my love of anatomy and see the results of my work first hand, sometimes immediately, which is so rewarding. I love the freedom of being able to choose how I practice as well, what I want to focus on, and where and when I work.
And that is why I chose
Big shoutout to for posting her ‘why’ and inspiring me to do the same💕

I’m SO excited to announce that I’ve been invited to work as an RMT at the Women’s Wellness Weekend hosted at a place very close to my heart: Cairn Camp❤️
I grew up going to this camp, went through the LIT program, and continued to work there for the summer. I even have my ‘10 year paddle’ hanging in the lodge. The thought of going back already has me feeling so nostalgic🥲 I haven’t been back in at least 4 years! The picture in the background is even one I dug up from my archives (circa 2016, I think??).
DM me if you want more info on what it’s all about /how to sign up 😊
