Principles-based Osteopathy

All members of OSTCAN (OOA) are required to meet the following criteria:

✅ Meet the Education Standards criteria of no less than 4200 hours, including 1000 hours of supervised clinical training meeting the Type 1 standard as outlined by the WHO Benchmarks for training in Osteopathy
✅ Pass the OSTCAN Certification Exam
✅ Hold valid professional malpractice and liability coverage
✅ Hold a CLEAR negative Vulnerable Sector Screening Police Check
✅ Adhere to OSTCAN Standards of Practice
✅ Satisfy annual Continuing Education requirements

What does that mean for patients?
