You can barely see ‘em here, but we spotted pelicans in Heart Lake, AB. Old news to the locals, but we west coasters were thrilled.

Last week, Trailmark, LGL Limited, and Deninu Kue First Nation delivered the first Climate, Indigenous Knowledge, Resilience, Conservation, Land, and Ecology (CIRCLE) youth camp in Fort Resolution, NWT. The camp brings together Traditional Knowledge, Western science, and hands-on learning to equip youth with the skills, tools, and knowledge to care for and monitor the land

Trailmark’s Solveigh is filming a documentary that explores the relationship between Tsartlip First Nation and the Saanich Inlet, focusing on how increasing vessel activity and noise impact both the marine environment and the community’s ability to practice traditional ways of life. We look forward to seeing the completed project!
