True to my nature, I’m embracing the new year on my own timeline. I took vacation very seriously at the end of last year, and it stretched into mid-January. That pause gave me space to restore my creative processes, and I’m arriving in mid-February with a renewed sense of excitement for the year ahead. Maybe I’m just on the same timeline as the cherry blossoms. We need to rest before we can bloom again.⁠

January is typically a busy month for us, as majority of our stockists reorder after the holidays. February is when our team steps back, reflects, and maps out the year, then sees how closely we can follow that plan. This is also the first year we embraced Valentine’s Day in any way, shape, or form. Historically, I’ve found it a bit icky and overly Hallmark-y, so I’ve mostly avoided it.⁠

What’s shifted for me is what I continue to learn from you. How our products make you feel. Sensual, connected, grounded, excited. You’ve associated our scents with home, discovered them through a friend, created memories with a partner, worn them on your wedding day, or used them to mark a new chapter of life. You’ve shared how meaningful these products have been in moments that invite more presence and connection. That’s an honour.⁠
