Well, it's been two months now we've been open post covid.
We would like to say thank you to all for the support, patronage and laughs.
As we are moving forward with the latest from dr. Bonnie today. It is so important to us that we continue to provide the best safe service.
We need to emphasize
-masks are mandatory for staff and clients. We have directly seen the benefit of this. Link below
-sanitize or wash hands on arrival
- no extra people accompanying you
-blowdying is now permitted
-we accept all forms of payment. Cash,Visa,Mastercard,etransfer,debit.
-please keep touch points and stuff to a minimum
-please be aware we are sometimes on a tight schedule,so time is precious
-currently beverage service and magazines are suspended. You're welcome to bring book or own device.
-all products are available for purchase
-prebooking next appointment is appreciated
-we are washing and drying hair currently, however if your hair is heavily soiled or has color spray or powder,it needs to be out before appointment
We can do it for you for an additional cost.
I am concerned about the recent rise in numbers in BC and do not want to contribute to that rise. I feel locally we might have relaxed but this is the time to stand back up as a community to protect all of us.

How two hairstylists with COVID-19 saw 139 clients without passing on the virus Two hairstylists in Missouri unknowingly saw 139 clients while having COVID-19, but none of those clients ever showed any signs of the virus, likely because of mandatory mask use.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you all for your unwavering support during these turbulent times.
PROCEDURES & PROTOCOLS
We believe it is our responsibility to provide a safe, sanitized, and comfortable environment for all.
We take our role as members of your community seriously and wanted to provide you with the procedures and protocols we have in place to guarantee a safe salon reopening. As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to doing everything we can to help flatten the curve. In doing so, we wanted to share the decisions we’ve made to adapt the R Place experience during these extraordinary times.We will be seeing clients by appointment only. Our goal is to limit the amount of people in the salon at any given time. Spacing between people in the salon will be six feet apart at minimum, except when team members are servicing clients. To accomplish this, we will modify appointment schedules accordingly; and only utilize every other station to ensure social distancing is observed.
We will engage in touch-less greetings and goodbyes, as we will not be shaking hands or hugging at this time. PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:
1. Wear a face mask in the location at all times. Please bring a personal mask from home, as we will have a limited quantity available in location.
2. Arrive in clean clothing, with only your personal device and form of payment.
3. Arrive no more than five minutes before your booked appointment, as designated waiting areas will no longer be available. You will be asked to wait outside until your service provider is ready to serve you.
4. Attend appointments alone. Friends, family members, children and/or pets will be asked to stay at home. .
5.. Haircut clients will be asked to arrive with clean, dry hair without any styling product(s) applied
6.There will be a sanitation fee applied to each service.
ARRIVING AT YOUR APPOINTMENT:
1. You will be asked to confirm if you are feeling well – no fever, cough, or difficulty breathing.
3. Please disinfect your hands upon arrival, using the restrooms and/or sanitation stations provided. It is advised to wash hands with clean water for a minimum of 20 seconds.
4. Outside food and/or drinks will not be permitted in the salon. Serving beverages of any kind, magazines, and complimentary charging stations will be temporarily unavailable.
DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT:
1.Minimal movement throughout he salon is recommended to reduce touch points.
2. Masks are o be worn by staff and clients.
3.Blowdrys will be temporarily suspended a this time.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT:
1.All take home products will be retrieved by stylist for your proection.
2. A pinpad will be provided at the station for your convenience
3.Rebooking appointments will happen at that time..
WE HAVE MANDATED THAT ALL TEAM MEMBERS:
Wear a mask at all times. .
Wash their hands, before and after every appointment.
Clean and disinfect all tools with virocide, before and after every appointment.
Clean and disinfect their chair and station, before and after every appointment.
Sanitize their hands throughout the service if they change tools or step away from their station at any time.
Stay home if they are sick and/or not feeling well.
We are deeply grateful for your support and understanding during this time.
