Will it be dull, flat and rubbery or bright, sweet and crisp? The stem knows!

Stem health is my fav vitality indicator for cherries because it doesn’t matter what variety you’re buying. Some other freshness indicators like gloss, firmness and appearance can vary and since the cherry varietal may not be listed on the bag they can be less reliable methods to find the best tasting cherry.

I hope this series ensures you leave tasteless cherry at the store and only bring home the ones bursting with taste (and life)!
