It's been a while that I've been sitting on the idea of tempo work for track cyclists - sprinters specifically. This concept is borrowed from the late Charlie Francis but utilized extensively (pun intended) by many great speed coaches including both and . It was from a recent webinar from Keir that I decided to dive into creating a tempo workout for track cyclists and try his progression to see where it leads me.
