I have been really disconnected from my camera lately as my focus has been flowing elsewhere. I have been taking this recent time to get behind the lens again and edit photos old and new. It’s become a really nice distraction from the stress around the state of the world and my never ending COVID to-do list full of new projects (and many unfinished ones). I have to remind myself to appreciate the lazy mornings unapologetically, making sure to get outside for a few breaths of fresh air and finding gratitude in the “small” things that often get taken for granted. Many of our frontline workers and others in the community do not have the same opportunities as those of us self isolating to do our part. So here is a collection of photos I’ve been working on for in between those moments over the past week.
