Solstice greetings,

All is resoundingly earthward here at this time of year in this little corner of the world, including the sun. Each day it hardly rises before setting again. And, suddenly, it's wet. Very wet. But my first full semester of school has concluded, and with this, I feel some delicious spaciousness. I'm tucking in.

But before I do, just a little note from me to let you know I am thoroughly enjoying steeping once again in new learning, and specifically in this medicine with its traditional roots. Despite many obstacles and detours over centuries, and through many dynasties and cataclysmic world events, Traditional Chinese Medicine seems to be finding ground here at this time. I am in a wonderful little school, with wonderful people, and am really enjoying this hard, good work.

So what are 3 ways my learning has already added to my practice?

-Affirming the powerful interconnection between body, mind, soulful, spiritual & relational health: the foundation of my work.

-Supporting the distinction between but also interrelatedness of healing and growing (including emotionally, socially, and psycho-spiritually).

-Deepening my intimacy with the anatomy of the physical and energetic body, providing rich new insights into patterns of health and dis-ease.

And because I can't just stick to 3:

-Understanding that we humans are nature - of course we are - and reminds me just how powerful, complex, heart-rendering, and beautiful human relating is.

I will be in the clinic over the holidays and into next year, still on Mondays (full days) and Wednesday evenings (5 pm). Please feel free to book in. Let's see what my work might offer your journey at this time.
