Leadership Day for BIPOC Youth in Victoria!!

We are excited to share that in collaboration with Power to Be and a fabulous University of Victoria Social Work student, Amaru, we have designed a pilot outdoor leadership day for BIPOC Youth ages 13+.

Youth will participate in a variety of activities designed to teach leadership skills, build a positive relationship with nature, and make connections in community. No one will be forced to participate in anything they feel uncomfortable with.

We hope to learn from participants what was meaningful to them and what we could improve, ultimately working together to make this a program that invites growth while honouring their experiences.

Location: Power to Be | 4633 Prospect Lake Road, Victoria
Drop off: 9:00am - 9:30am
Pick up: 3:30pm

A huge and heartfelt congratulations to every racer, team, and supporter who climbed, coordinated, fundraised, paddled, and cheered for Power To Be! All of your work raised crucial funds for our inclusive outdoor programs, and we are so very grateful, proud, and inspired. So far, we’ve raised $209,000 (and our total is still climbing!)

We are excited to announce a few winners who really wowed us with creativity and hard work!

Thank you so much for the dedication, enthusiasm, and FUN you brought to Power To Play: Summit & Race. It was an incredible weekend, and we are so glad that you were a part of it!
