The Isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, and I can’t overstate how GREEN and verdant it is there. As I edited these photos I tried to get them as true to life as it was being there!

Oxford is a city that absolutely needs to be on your England bucket list if you like history and gorgeous architecture. It is known as the “city of dreaming spires” and home to one of the most famous and prestigious universities in the world, Oxford University, which is actually made up of 43 different colleges.

A quick list of some other spots worth checking out:

📍 Oxford Museum of Natural History
📍 Christ Church College
📍 Oxford Castle & Prison
📍 Magdalen College
📍 St Mary’s Passage - a narrow street leading to the Radcliffe Camera where CS Lewis supposedly drew inspiration for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

The city centre is compact enough that you can walk to basically all of the sights on this list in 30 minutes or less. As the colleges are where students are busy living and studying, there are often restrictions on when they are open to visitors from the public, so if there are any particular colleges you want to see, it’s worth it to check online in advance when their opening hours are and whether you need to book a ticket or a tour to enter.
