Last night was a trip, a wild ride, full of hearty laughter, happy tears, celebration, and music-making. Thank you to all who came out to our show, marking 10 years as Cascadia Strings! 🤍🙌🎶🎉

Iluminare: Night Before Light

A luminous celebration of the holiday season, where music glows with wonder and joy. Featuring the Cascadia String Chamber Orchestra and guests

Illuminare: Night Before Light is our annual Christmas concert which celebrates the light and joy of the season through music that spans cultures and traditions. From Ola Gjelo’s shimmering Northern Lights to the radiant hope of Elaine Hagenberg’s choral/chamber work Illuminare, each piece reflects the warmth and wonder of this time of year. French and Hannukah holiday songs, spirited spirituals, and beloved carols invite us all to sing, reflect, and celebrate together in the glow of the season. An annual community favorite, so popular that we’ve expanded to two concerts!
