The theme for P and A’s wedding? Light ✨

Music came to mind when I was faced with its spell. I feel myself revisiting those small pockets of light, the dappled light, the harsh light overhead, and the play of shadow and light - as if they were quietly trying to overtake each other. Playfully composed, I relished in capturing the constant sources of light that were in every which direction - almost as if light itself was being dictated by an orchestra. Staccato-like pockets dancing like sprites, to finally crescendo-ing into the grand finale.

This is just the teeniest snippet of a beautifully saturated styled bridal shoot fully drenched in colour that I had been, quite frankly, dreaming about for the past year 🌈
From the hand-died linens (add that to my resume now 😅), to the bamboo flatware, the vintage majolica dinnerware, the hand-painted linen designs to the antique dining chairs - this dream of all beautiful pieces were all from my own collection. And what is magical about it, is that I didn’t have to go looking far to see how it would all come together 🥰

By the way, I envisioned having a floral "bag" for this shoot, and literally DELIVERED on a silver platter 💛 Not only are these women incredibly talented floral entrepreneurs, they are incredible mothers who balance it all.

After arriving 11 days early at 38+3 in the most non-stress and chaotic-free manner I could ever had hoped for, we introduce our sweet Joséphine Briar earthside 💛

Joséphine’s namesake came from one of my favourite novels, Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women - our heroine Josephine March was a strong, confident family-oriented and inspiring protagonist with a passion for books, life and love.

Danielle and Austin’s end-of-summer wedding was truly a day that I find myself revisiting often. Filled with close family and friends, it’s no surprise how much they are surrounded by love. Here’s to you two lovebirds 🥂
