The trap: You need a $50/month CRM to stay organized.
The reality: If you can’t manage your flow in a well-architected spreadsheet, a CRM will just help you be disorganized faster - and for a fee.
Software doesn’t fix a broken process; it just automates the mess.
I’d rather have a $0 Google Sheet with a custom script than a $600/year solution that I only use 10% of.
Build the system first. Buy the software last (or never).

From Unstructured Data to Automated Insights.
I just finished building a custom script that bridges the gap between my Drive and my financial ledger.
Instead of manual data entry, my system now:
1. Scans a specific folder for new invoices.
2. Uses RegEx to surgically extract the Invoice #, Date, Payer, and Amount from the filename.
3. Automatically populates my ledger without impacting existing formatting or values.
4. Creates a link to the invoice.
This is just a small part of what I do at Jen-X Solutions: creating systems that work for you, so you can spend less time searching and more time doing.
