Would like to say thanks to Rocky R for taking on the task of getting the old trucks up and running again. Still a work in progress, but he has accepted the challenge. He has had some help along the way as well.
And thanks to the Clandonald Ag Society having a great car show to show his hard work,Clandonald, Alberta. We will put the video up in comments of our other truck, getting ready for the Vermilion Agricultural Society parade this July.

Late in the evening of April 28 the Town of Vermilion Fire Department responded to eight train cars carrying 'PETE COKE,N CALC' that were heating to more than the allowable limit. Working in cooperation with CN officials members of our department were able to cool the train cars to a safe temperature for transporting.
The ladder truck with remote operation made the task easier and safer for our members.
Town of Vermilion administration was aware of the situation and at no time was there any risk or danger to town or residents.
