From initial inquiry through reassessment - how an integrative-medicine workup is sequenced.

How a Men's Health Assessment at Marsden Centre is sequenced.

Step 1 - Initial inquiry. A 15-minute discovery call with a member of our team is available at no charge. The call is a chance to ask questions about the service before any appointment is booked.

Step 2 - 90-minute new-patient appointment, typically led by a naturopathic doctor. Comprehensive history-taking, review of any existing laboratory results you bring, and physical examination as clinically indicated.

Step 3 - Laboratory requisition. Where laboratory testing is appropriate, your Marsden Centre clinician provides a requisition for testing through a standard Ontario laboratory, within their scope of practice. Out-of-pocket cost information is provided in advance.

Step 4 - Review and care plan. At a follow-up visit, your clinician reviews results in context of the history and presents an individualized care plan.

Step 5 - Where the plan benefits from input from our nurse practitioner or medical doctor (for example, around prescription therapy), the team coordinates internally. Prescribing decisions are made by the practitioner authorized to perform that act.

Step 6 - Implementation and adjustment. The plan typically includes foundational care components and, where appropriate, targeted nutritional or botanical support within naturopathic scope, alongside any prescription elements managed by our NP or MD.

Step 7 - Reassessment over time, including repeat laboratory testing where clinically indicated.
