Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, communities, cultures, and contributions across Canada.
Skiing and snowboarding take place on lands with deep histories and connections that long predate the sport itself. It is an important reminder to continue learning, listening, and building respectful relationships with the communities connected to the places where we live, work, and play.
Sport also has the power to create connection by bringing people together through shared experiences outdoors, on snow, and in community.
Today is an opportunity to reflect, learn more, and recognize the importance of Indigenous voices, stories, and perspectives across Canada.

Happy Pride Month!
From Pride Ski Weeks held at resorts across Canada to local clubs, meetups, and community groups, skiers and snowboarders continue to show that winter sports are for everyone.
At Go Skiing Go Snowboarding, we believe the slopes are strongest when everyone feels welcome, respected, and free to be themselves.
If you're part of a Pride-focused ski or snowboard community, we'd love to hear from you. Share your group in the comments and help others discover welcoming communities both on and off the slopes.
